We spent the day on Table Rock Lake with Janell, the kids, Mom and Dad, Bruce, Rheydene and Veronika. The kids had a blast tubing behind the boat and taking turns on the wave runner.
Sofia was the ironwoman: spending most of the day on the tube. Unfortunately, the back of her legs are her proof -- reddened by the sun (who would have ever thought she needed sunscreen there?) Her cousin, Veronika, was her willing wingman. Chas and Tyner alternated between the tube and wave runner while Ileana opted solely for a lowspeed cruise on the wave runner with Janell.
The lake is a great one: nice and clean with lots of opportunities for cliff jumping, rope swinging and state line swimming opportunities.
The southern portion of the lake actually cuts across the Missouri/Arkansas line and is marked by signs on the banks. It has become traditional for the kids to jump into the water on the Missouri side and swim into Arkansas.
They think its the coolest thing ever.
Good news is that I returned the wave runner is fully working order this year.
Wonderful day with family.
