Day 2 - Big Cedar

Question:  Where do you go to officially start your vacation?
Answer:  The Lazy River

We are all settled into our cabin which, fortunately, is about 100 paces from the Brushey Creek Lodge.  After a leisurely morning highlighted by Grandma's pancakes, we single handedly pushed the lazy river's occupancy load to the limit roughly 5 minutes after opening.

The kids went to cooking school where they learned to make spaghetti, homemade ice cream and lollipops -- pretty much everything you need to get through life.  Janell and I took advantage of the time by spending a leisurely lunch with Grandma and Grandpa at the Devil's Pool with wonderful vistas overlooking the lake.

An afternoon of naps, scooters, locking ourselves out of our cabin, and stocking up on groceries (I'm not saying who did what) and it was time for another cruise on the lazy river.  Here we met up with my cousin, Rheydene, her husband,  Bruce, and their daughter, Veronika.

Our growing amoeba headed back to our cabin for a night of pizza, watermelon, firefly chasing and charades.
