Went to Dollywood today. Very similar to Silver Dollar City in size and activities. But, where Silver Dollar City's style is log cabin, Dollywood's is southern country.
The weather got the best of us. (Nothing like is happening back home.) Lightning activity shut down the rides for extended periods on a couple of occasions. But, we still got several things in, like the ropes course, the Tennessee Tornado roller coaster (3 loops!), some midway type games, candlemaking, and fried green tomatoes.
The last front that passed through led us to head home early. We spent the rest of the evening playing tag and riding scooters down the steep hills in the parking lot. No injuries to report. And, more importantly, no bears! Off to Virginia tomorrow...
